We are extremely happy that for the first time in OLS history, The Polish Mission is hosting the WORLD premier of this first-of-it’s kind exhibition from the world’s most recognizable authority on Poland’s tragic history during WWII.  After two years of planning, the 20-panel exhibition has been created to showcase the powerful history of the Auschwitz-Birkenau site through the eyes of prisoner-artists, allowing for an unprecedented view of the past through the intimacy of the artist’s touch.

As the exclusive North American partner with the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum (A-BSM), The Polish Mission has created a tour across the United States for Forbidden Art.

Please join us as we celebrate a new milestone for our community, and don’t forget to check out our exposure in the Detroit News! http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20120813/OPINION03/208130328/1383/OPINION0308/-Forbidden-Art-liberating
